Dear Families,

We have had another successful start to the third Term.

Students returned to class with curiosity and vibrancy: the students who resumed school on the first day of resumption being 22 April,2024 were seen basking in the euphoria of meeting their classmates and resuming academic activities after the holiday.

The school authority applauded them noting that a good number of schools within the environment had its gates opened but no students at sight.

Staff meeting held:

The school staff meeting was held on 29 April, 2024. At the meeting, the principle of the school, Rev. Fr. Victor Ofili encouraged the staff to brace up to the challenges ahead and most importantly, that they should always have it in mind, that, they are not only teachers but, also, formators.

The calendar for the term was presented and activities outlined.

WASSCE Timetable released:

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released the final Timetable for the conduct of the West Africa Senior School Certification Examination. The timetable in revealed that the Examination commenced on 30th April, 2024 with Foods and Nutrition paper 3 practical and will come to conclusion on 24th June, 2024 with woodwork 1 objective.

Pupils being prepared for Cognitive/ placement Examination:

As the Cognitive/ Placement Examination for the pupils in primary 6 draws near, the pupils of St. Charles primary school that will sit for the examination has since commenced intensive review on the past questions to help the pupils gain fore-knowledge of the mode of the examination. The examination is scheduled for 18th May, 2024.

B. E.C.E Examination draws close:

Just like the Cognitive/ Placement Examination for the primary, the Basic Education Certificate Examination is also fast approaching and students have been made to also undergo intensive review of the past questions which will give them an edge in performing well during the examination scheduled to commence from 3rd June to 7th June, 2024.
