Support for Communities
The existence of St. Charles College, Abavo since 1963 has been of immense blessing to the community.
Apart from attracting the attention of the government in providing good network of accessable roads that links to the school, Street lights and pipe borne water from the water board located just opposite the school.
St. Charles College, also make out time to carry out environmental sanitation projects withing the community, once in a session, sensitive the community on her roles in parenting and give aids in terms of startup packs to some of her indigenes through Justice for Development and Peace Commission (JDPC).
The school has been chosen, to benefit from Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises in the Niger-Delta (LIFE-ND) project put up by the federal government to set up school gardens in a bid to emphasise the importance of healthy nutrition among the school pupils and students.
